Job Summary

CHRISTMAS DAY OFF AND LIMITED EVENINGS IN THE WINTER !! .We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our dynamic culinary team! In this pivotal role, you will support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver outstanding service while adhering to food safety standards. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and have a passion for culinary excellence, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a lively hospitality environment!

Duties

Assist in supervising food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes
Support team management by training staff on food safety, proper handling, and kitchen procedures
Oversee food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
Help coordinate daily kitchen activities, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards to uphold health department compliance
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, fostering a positive team atmosphere

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or hotel settings
Supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and guide staff effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food production techniques
Demonstrated leadership abilities in fast-paced environments with excellent communication skills
Hands-on experience with kitchen operations, including inventory control and quality assurance
Hospitality background with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus but not required
