Head of Governance, Risk and Procurement

Permanent, 37 Hours per Week

Horsham, West Sussex

Exciting opportunity to lead the Governance, Risk and Procurement functions
Be a trusted advisor to the Board, Committees and Executive Team

Key Responsibilities

Lead Saxon Weald's Governance, Risk management, assurance and procurement functions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Ensure high standards of Governance and Compliance, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance.
Be a trusted advisor to the Board, Committees and Executive Team delivering high-quality reports and insight that support decision-making and helps drive continuous improvement.
Support a consistent, risk aware, customer focused and value-for-money approach, embedding these principles into departmental plans and performance monitoring.

The Successful Applicant
What We're Looking For:

Leadership experience within a Governance role, ideally within social housing or other regulated industries.
Proven track record of managing Board and Committees, with experience of influencing around Governance and Risk matters
Excellent interpersonal and strategic skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead change and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

You can make a real difference in people's lives by leading the Governance, Risk and Procurement function that supports Saxon Weald's mission to provide safe, secure, and affordable homes-enabling positive life chances, strengthening communities and delivering long-term social value.
