JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Social Media to join TheNudge.com, the insiders’ guide to London.

Our ideal candidate has proven experience in the planning, strategy and execution of engaging social / video content; is capable of both filming, editing and commissioning beautiful and impactful videos in a variety of styles (including interviews and voiceovers); has a keen eye for design and aesthetics; is proactive, entrepreneurial and happy working as part of a team; and has a passion for exploring, documenting and generally making the most of life in London.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key responsibilities will include -

Social Content Strategy:

Working with our editorial team to develop & execute a diverse and engaging multi-channel video & social strategy that aligns with and grows The Nudge’s brand in London.

Content Creation:

Capturing beautiful photos of venues and experiences around London.
Filming and editing stylish, engaging videos for our website, app and social channels including interviews & voiceovers.
Commissioning freelance videographers to bring your strategy to life.
Liaising with PR teams and venues to organise and execute photo and video shoots.
Repurposing existing video content to be used across all of The Nudge’s channels.

Community Management:

Managing and nurturing The Nudge’s social media communities.
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant partner brands.

Reporting:

Providing monthly reports on cross-platform content performance.
Staying up-to-date with relevant social media platforms and trends.

ABOUT YOU

A genuine passion for social media strategy, photography, videography, and London’s restaurant, bar & events scene.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a social content creation & strategy role.
Excellent writing skills, with a clear ability to craft engaging stories.
Demonstrable confidence in the use of your preferred photo & video editing tools, social media scheduling tools; plus in-platform and third party social analytics tools (to evaluate campaign performance).
An entrepreneurial and positive mindset.
Excellent organisational skills.
