Full job description

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Accounts Manager – Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Manager will oversee the company’s financial accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial reporting, ensuring that income and expenditure are accurately recorded, monitored and controlled.

The role will involve monitoring customer accounts, credit limits and aged debt, establishing appropriate payment terms and taking necessary action to recover outstanding balances.

The successful candidate will conduct pricing, cost and profitability reviews, contribute to business planning and assess the financial performance of the company’s different services and operations.

They will supervise general accounting and related administrative activities, support operational and financial audits, and provide the Director with accurate financial information, analysis and recommendations to support effective business decision-making.

The Accounts Manager will also develop and manage business accounts, identify opportunities for growth and support initiatives aimed at increasing sales and improving the commercial performance of the company’s financial services.

Qualification & Skills required:

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related

subject is preferred, together with relevant accounts-management experience.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting procedures, credit

control, budgeting and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, numerical,

organisational and communication skills, along with proficiency in accounting

software and Microsoft Office, are required

Pay: £44,850.00 per year
