Night Healthcare Assistant (HCA) - Dementia Care Home

Crediton, Devon

Your Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide compassionate care and reassurance throughout your shifts, ensuring residents remain safe, comfortable and well supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality personal care with dignity and respect
Supporting residents living with dementia
Assisting with mobility using safe moving and handling techniques
Carrying out regular wellbeing checks
Supporting continence care and personal hygiene
Assisting residents with hydration and comfort throughout the night
Accurately updating care records
Working closely with the wider care team to deliver exceptional care

We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Support Worker or Senior Care Assistant
A genuine passion for caring for older people
Compassionate, patient and reliable nature
Good communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of person-centred care
Experience supporting people living with dementia is desirable but not essential
