Help shape the voice and digital presence of Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing.
Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing is looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to lead and develop our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled content creator and digital communicator to take ownership of our social media channels, strengthen our brand, engage with tenants and communities, and showcase the work and impact of Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing.
You will also support partner and community communications relating to our Birmingham operations while ensuring our online content reflects the sensitivity and safeguarding considerations associated with working within supported housing.
About the Role
As Social Media Manager, you will take responsibility for planning, creating and managing engaging content across our social media channels.
You will develop and maintain a content calendar, monitor engagement and performance, and use analytics to understand what works and continuously improve our digital presence.
Importantly, you will understand how to communicate responsibly about housing, vulnerable adults and the communities we serve, ensuring content is professional, respectful and consistent with our organisational values.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing's social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.
- Plan, create and publish engaging and relevant social media content.
- Develop and maintain an effective social media content calendar.
- Support brand awareness, tenant engagement and partner communications.
- Create written, graphic and basic video content suitable for different social platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond appropriately and professionally.
- Track reach, engagement and overall performance using social media analytics.
- Produce regular performance reports and use insights to improve future content.
- Ensure all communications appropriately reflect safeguarding and tone-of-voice considerations, particularly when communicating about vulnerable tenants.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines creativity with good judgement and understands that effective social media management is about more than simply posting content.
Essential
- 2–4 years' experience in social media management.
- Proven content creation skills, including Canva, Adobe Express and basic video editing.
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Insights.
- Strong written communication and content-planning skills.
- Awareness of safeguarding and appropriate tone of voice when communicating about vulnerable people.
Desirable
- Previous social media experience within the charity or housing sector.
- Photography or videography skills.
- Experience planning and managing paid social media campaigns.
