Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel and Apartment Housekeeper to join our professional team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, communal areas, and private apartments to ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or janitorial services and possess a keen eye for detail. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment for our guests and residents.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, apartments, and communal areas in accordance with company standards.
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required.
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored safely.
Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests or residents.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linen or clothing.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, full training provided.
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays is required.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
