Join Our Team as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner!

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? At Playhouse Nursery, we're looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are seeking someone who loves helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment. This role is available for up to 35 hours per week, although we are happy to consider part-time applications from candidates who can offer flexibility to help cover staff holidays and sickness when needed.

About Us

Playhouse Nursery provides high-quality childcare for up to 40 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them. We are open 51 weeks of the year, with operating hours of 7:45am to 6:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing

As a valued member of our team, you will:

Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
Build meaningful relationships with children and their families through our key person approach.
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS Framework, supporting each child's individual learning and development.
Observe, assess, and celebrate children's progress.
Work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive, and professional team to deliver outstanding childcare.
Promote children's wellbeing while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and confidentiality.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
Has previous experience working in an early years setting.
Has a sound understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Is enthusiastic, caring, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional childcare.
Works well as part of a team while using their own initiative.
Is flexible, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the continued success of our nursery.
