Functieomschrijving
Uw taken:
➢ P&L-verantwoordelijkheid: Verantwoordelijkheid voor de regionale winst- en verliesrekening van de Service Operations in de regio UK, Benelux & Scandics, inclusief servicewerkplaatsen, field-serviceactiviteiten en spare-parts business.
➢ Business development: Uitbouw van de regionale serviceactiviteiten in UK, Benelux & Scandics in nauwe samenwerking met Sales, productielocaties en de Global Solutions Engineering (GSE)-teams.
➢ Personeelsontwikkeling: Verdere ontwikkeling van de competenties van de field-service- en werkplaatsteams in de regio door middel van trainingen, certificeringen en individuele ontwikkelingsplannen.
➢ Operational Excellence: Invoering en implementatie van gestandaardiseerde processen voor Field Service Management, spare-parts management en supply chain, in overeenstemming met EMEA-standaarden en regionale vereisten.
➢ Klantondersteuning & kwaliteit: Coördinatie van product- en serviceklachten met de productielocaties om snelle oplossingen, hoge klanttevredenheid en betrouwbare feedbackloops te waarborgen.
➢ Performance management: Monitoring van regionale service-KPI’s zoals omzet, marge, bezettingsgraad, servicekwaliteit en klanttevredenheid, evenals de implementatie van noodzakelijke corrigerende maatregelen.
➢ Leiderschap & samenwerking: Vertegenwoordiging van de Service Operations-functie in de regio UK, Benelux & Scandics en waarborging van een nauwe afstemming met Sales, productlijnen en de functionele EMEA-verantwoordelijken.
Uw profiel:
➢ Aantoonbare ervaring in het leiden van serviceorganisaties of regionale business units binnen industriële apparatuur, machinebouw of engineering, bij voorkeur in een internationale omgeving.
➢ Sterk commercieel inzicht met ervaring in P&L-verantwoordelijkheid en het winstgevend uitbouwen van serviceactiviteiten over meerdere landen.
➢ Grondig inzicht in field-serviceprocessen, spare-parts logistiek, servicewerkplaatsen en klantmanagement binnen een industriële omgeving.
➢ Leiderschapservaring in het aansturen van technische teams verspreid over meerdere locaties en landen, evenals bewezen vermogen om samen te werken met cross-functionele stakeholders in een matrixorganisatie.
➢ Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels; kennis van aanvullende talen in de regio, zoals Nederlands, Frans of Scandinavische talen, is een pluspunt.
➢ Bereidheid om regelmatig binnen de regio UK, Benelux & Scandics te reizen.

Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
➢ P&L responsibility: Responsibility for the regional profit and loss account of Service Operations in the UK, Benelux & Scandics region, including service workshops, field service activities and the spare parts business.
➢ Business development: Expansion of regional service activities across UK, Benelux & Scandics in close collaboration with Sales, manufacturing sites and the Global Solutions Engineering (GSE) teams.
➢ People development: Further development of the capabilities of field service and workshop teams in the region through training, certifications and individual development plans.
➢ Operational Excellence: Introduction and implementation of standardised processes for Field Service Management, spare parts management and supply chain, in line with EMEA standards and regional requirements.
➢ Customer support & quality: Coordination of product and service complaints with manufacturing sites to ensure fast solutions, high customer satisfaction and robust feedback loops.
➢ Performance management: Monitoring of regional service KPIs such as revenue, margin, utilisation, service quality and customer satisfaction, as well as the implementation of necessary corrective actions.
➢ Leadership & collaboration: Representation of the Service Operations function in the UK, Benelux & Scandics region and ensuring close alignment with Sales, product lines and the functional EMEA leads.
Your Profile:
➢ Proven experience in leading service organisations or regional business units within industrial equipment, mechanical engineering or engineering, ideally in an international environment.
➢ Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L responsibility and the profitable expansion of service activities across multiple countries.
➢ Sound understanding of field service processes, spare parts logistics, service workshops and customer management in an industrial environment.
➢ Leadership experience in managing technical teams across multiple sites and countries, as well as a proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
➢ Fluent English; knowledge of additional regional languages, such as Dutch, French or Scandinavian languages, is an advantage.
➢ Willingness to travel regularly within the UK, Benelux & Scandics region.
