Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental team, and managing front desk duties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare and strong organisational skills to contribute to a welcoming and efficient environment.

Duties

Deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after dental procedures
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and administrative tasks using IT systems
Greet patients warmly, answer queries, and provide clear communication regarding treatments and procedures
Maintain a clean and organised reception area in accordance with health and safety standards
Handle telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently
Support with sterilisation of dental instruments and preparation of treatment rooms
Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and practice policies

Qualifications

Recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent
Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with dental practice management software
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good understanding of nursing principles relevant to dental care
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13.92-£15.58 per hour
