Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Agency Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various nursing homes, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your nursing skills in diverse environments, supporting patients' needs while gaining valuable experience. Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with medical protocols and organisational policies
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to all relevant guidelines
Monitor patient vital signs and observe any changes in condition, reporting findings promptly to the healthcare team
Assist with patient mobilisation, hygiene, and comfort measures to promote wellbeing
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services
Follow infection control procedures diligently to safeguard patients and staff
Adapt to different clinical environments as required, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in patient care within hospital, community, or specialised settings
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice
Competence in medication administration, including IV therapy where applicable
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and clear documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous experience in agency nursing is advantageous but not essential
