About the role

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high quality support to corporate clients throughout the full lifecycle of their engagement, from initial enquiry and proposal stage through to training delivery, feedback and ongoing account management. This varied role combines client relationship management, commercial administration, operational coordination and cross-team collaboration to ensure an excellent client experience and smooth internal processes.

Key responsibilities

Client and account management

Manage and respond to incoming corporate enquiries, preparing proposals and commercial offers as required.
Lead client meetings, including introductions, discovery calls, regular account management sessions, progress reviews and post-training feedback discussions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to promote the wider training portfolio, including Apprenticeships and initiatives such as Professional Development Week.

Operational coordination

Oversee the end-to-end coordination of corporate training programmes, ensuring all operational actions are completed on time.
Monitor payments, liaise with Accounts on purchase orders and chase outstanding items when needed.
Organise discovery calls, prepare and issue joining instructions, send post training surveys, and follow up with booking coordinators for feedback.
Regularly check corporate booking reports and share relevant information, including exam bookings and grade updates, with clients.

Communication and follow-up

Proactively follow up on outstanding enquiries via email and phone to maintain momentum and ensure timely progression.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

Data, tracking and administration

Update and manage the corporate bookings page and maintain the corporate spreadsheet with new or amended enquiries.
Oversee the rate card tracker, ensuring clients receive the correct discount levels and up to date rate card information.
Support internal reporting and maintain accurate records to assist wider team and organisational processes.

Commercial and project support

Provide support on contracts advance and assist with tender responses as required.
Contribute to ad hoc corporate projects, such as outreach to APM corporate clients.
Participate in hosting corporate kick off sessions for newly enrolled groups when requested.

Events and cross-team support

Support the delivery of corporate events and activities.
Assist the B2C team during peak periods, staff absence or annual leave, helping to maintain continuity of service across enquiries, applications and internal inbox management.
