Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Static Security Officer and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities through vigilant surveillance and proactive loss prevention. In this role, you will be the first line of defense, maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to security excellence will help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Responsibilities

Conduct continuous surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and detect suspicious behavior.
Control access to the facility by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Perform regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately.
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and surveillance logs to ensure thorough documentation.
Assist in emergency preparedness drills and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail in identifying irregularities or safety concerns.
Good communication skills to effectively report incidents and collaborate with team members and emergency responders.
Ability to stand, walk, for extended periods as required during patrols or monitoring shifts.
