Full job description

OverviewWe are a £350 million turnover group of companies specialising in food packing and distribution. Amongst others, our group consists of Henley Bridge (chocolate and fine foods), BFP (ingredients for artisan bakers) and Kent Foods (commodities such as sugar, milk powder, etc). We also own two overseas companies, Kent Foods BV in the Netherlands and Jones and Kent in Malta.

The opportunity:

We are now looking for a Part Time Customer Service Representative to help manage the increasing customer base. In this position, you will be responsible for our customer's overall satisfaction, answering calls, processing orders and upselling products and services. The right candidate will be computer literate, efficient and organised and maintain a calm demeanour under pressure,

Customer Service Representative - Summary of Responsibilities:

Processing Orders

Liaise with customers on a daily basis to assist with orders and order monitoring

Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution

Liaise with the distribution team to ensure timeous deliveries to customers

Ensure high standards and professionalism at all times

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

Proven working experience as a Customer Services or similar

Motivated and organised

Computer literate (incl.MS Office)

Attentive to detail

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Previous work in Food Sector desirable, but not a requirement

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Benefits:

On-site parking

Schedule:

4-hour shift (1pm – 5pm)

Monday to Friday

Opportunity to work additional 2 mornings (salary would be adjusted up on a pro-rata basis)

Ability to commute/relocate:

Paisley, PA3 2RB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Expected start date: as soon as possible

Pay: £15,000.00 per year
