Platform & Innovation · 100% Remote
We help organisations consolidate disparate data feeds. We are data agnostic but generally we pull in finance, operations, ESG, and employee service consumption data into clear, engaging reporting through our Finfo 360 platform that activates curated reporting, monthly roll-ups, role-based summaries, and financial statements that turn noise into signal for employees, managers, leaders and their customers.
We’re a small, friendly, fully remote team trusted by the NHS, L’Oréal, Yorkshire Building Society, Ministry of Justice, Merlin, and McCarthy Stone (who named us Supplier of the Year).
Where are we heading? We're evolving Finfo beyond reporting into an actionable intelligence platform, combining trusted data, AI, and privacy-first enterprise agents to help organisations better understand and act on their information.
That's where you come in. We're well underway in that journey, and we're looking for an experienced developer to help us continue building the next generation of the Finfo platform.
Your mission is to help drive the continued evolution of the Finfo platform, building new capabilities, improving existing systems, and maintaining the high technical standards our customers depend on.
You'll play a key role in shaping the next generation of the Finfo platform, working alongside a collaborative team to solve meaningful technical challenges and deliver software that makes a real impact for our customers.
Build & Evolve Our Platform Develop reporting, analytics, data management, and AI-powered features across the Finfo platform, enhance existing functionality, and help modernise our legacy PHP applications as we continue migrating to Laravel.
Continuous Learning: Technology moves quickly, and so do we. You'll be encouraged to explore new ideas, deepen your expertise, and continuously grow your technical knowledge while helping shape the future of Finfo.
Collaborative Team Member You enjoy working with others, sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and discussing technical solutions. You believe the best software is built by teams that collaborate, challenge ideas, and continuously improve together.
Remote-Native & Self-Driven: You're comfortable in a fully remote environment, able to self-manage, communicate proactively, and take initiative without needing constant direction. You thrive in a trust-based team where ownership and accountability are valued.
Experienced Full-Stack Developer: You have strong professional experience building and maintaining modern web applications with PHP, Laravel, Livewire, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and related technologies.
Our Core Platform: Laravel, PHP, PostgreSQL, Livewire, FluxUI, Tailwind CSS, AWS, Docker, GitHub, Linear
We’re looking for someone curious, collaborative, and eager to contribute and grow. We value potential and a passion for pragmatic solutions just as much as a CV that perfectly matches every keyword. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t tick every single box, we’d love you to apply anyway.
You’ll join a small, ambitious, fully remote and growing team that works thoughtfully and keeps formalities light. We have two friendly hubs – Berlin and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Day to day you'll work closely with the Lead Developer (your manager), the wider team, and colleagues across Development, Product, Design and Data.
Our teams operate in six-week cycles, fostering alignment, collaboration, and focus. This approach also allows for dedicated time for research and development, innovation scouting, and individual projects.
Work Across the Whole Platform: From modern Laravel applications and legacy systems to reporting, analytics and AI-enabled features, you'll gain broad technical exposure and the opportunity to solve a wide variety of challenges.
Learn & Innovate: We invest in our developers. You'll have dedicated time to explore new technologies, deepen your expertise, collaborate with our AI R&D team, and continuously grow as a developer.
Work-Life Balance: We genuinely prioritise work-life balance. While we're all driven by ambition for the company, we understand the value of personal time. You'll find a calm, respectful, and kind work environment here at Finfo – no corporate BS.
