About the Role

Longfield Medical Centre is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic advanced nurse practitioner to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice in the heart of the beautiful market town of Maldon, Essex.

As an advanced nurse practitioner, you will work autonomously within your scope of practice, providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. You will play a key role within our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while contributing to the ongoing development of services.

The role offers a varied clinical workload, with opportunities to develop specialist interests and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

About the Candidate

You will:

Be a registered nurse with current NMC registration
Hold an advanced clinical practice qualification (or equivalent)
Be an independent prescriber
Have experience working autonomously within primary care
Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, decision-making and communication skills
Be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team

We are a well-established, semi-rural, dispensing and GP training practice, caring for approximately 16,500 patients. Our clinical team is led by 7 experienced GP partners, with partners always on-site to provide support, advice and collaborative working.
