We have an exciting new vacancy for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at The Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone. This superbly located 481 room hotel is based on the seafront, overlooking Folkestone's picturesque harbour and just a short walk to local amenities such as Folkestone centre and Folkestone central train station

Duties will include:

General maintenance tasks both inside and outside of the hotel such as painting, general carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing
Using your own initiative with the ability to work alone whilst being considerate of the guests and other hotel staff
Communicating effectively as required with both staff and guests.
Deal with contractors and visitors accordingly.
Ensuring the hotel is well maintained and compliant by completing various tasks as required

The successful candidate will have excellent DIY skills or be a trades person that can tackle various forms of maintenance work.
