Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, with occasional Saturday cover (9:00am - 12pm) on a rota basis.

Fast Parts is a well-established motor factor with branches in Northwich and Winsford, supplying trade and retail customers across Cheshire with a huge range of parts for almost all makes and models. The Role
We're looking for a confident, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our small, close-knit team. You'll be the friendly voice on the other end of the phone for garages, workshops and face-to-face with retail customers — taking orders, identifying the right parts, and building the kind of relationships that keep customers coming back to Fast Parts again and again.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys talking to people, has an interest in (or knowledge of) motor parts, and thrives in a fast-paced, no-two-days-the-same trade counter environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from trade and retail customers on the phone and in the shop, identifying the correct parts for their vehicle make, model and specification
- Accurately process orders using our parts lookup system and internal systems
- Provide knowledgeable advice on part suitability, availability and pricing, escalating technical queries where needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local garages, workshops and retail customers to become their first port of call
- Liaise with the counter, warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are picked and dispatched same day
- Follow up on quotes, backorders and special-order parts to keep customers informed
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell related parts and products
- Maintain accurate customer and order records
- Contribute to a friendly, helpful team atmosphere that reflects the Fast Parts reputation for great service
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Confident, friendly telephone manner with strong communication skills
- Good numeracy and attention to detail, particularly when processing orders
- Comfortable using computer systems for order entry and parts lookup
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player in a small-branch environment
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
Desirable
- Previous experience in a telesales, sales, or customer service role
- Knowledge of motor vehicle parts, or a general interest in cars/mechanics
- Experience in the motor factor, automotive aftermarket, or trade counter industry
- Existing relationships with local garages/trade customers in the Cheshire area
