Full job description

Looking for a role where organisation, accuracy and consistency matter?

At Intelligent Data Collection, we provide traffic survey data that supports transport and infrastructure projects across the UK.

We're looking for an organised and reliable Office Administrator to join our Operations team, providing essential administrative support that helps keep our projects running smoothly.

This is a full-time, 13-month fixed-term position providing maternity cover. There may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent in the future, subject to business requirements and headcount approval.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, following established processes and taking pride in producing accurate work. Much of the role involves routine administrative tasks that require consistency, attention to detail and a methodical approach.

What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Processing and organising traffic survey data
Downloading and securely storing project files
Uploading project documentation
Preparing SD cards and equipment for deployment
Ordering office and project supplies
Supporting purchase orders and routine finance administration
Assisting with office facilities administration

Many of these tasks form part of regular daily and weekly routines, so you'll need to be comfortable working methodically while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Who we're looking for

You'll be successful in this role if you:

Enjoy working in a structured environment with established processes.
Are happy carrying out routine and repetitive tasks to a consistently high standard.
Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Take pride in producing accurate work.
Can manage your workload effectively and work independently.
Are confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems.
Have a positive attitude and enjoy supporting a busy operational team.

Previous administration experience is welcomed, but we're equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, accuracy and the right attitude.

Candidates with proven office administration experience, particularly those who have supported office operations or facilities management, may be considered for the upper end of the advertised salary range.

What you'll get

Salary of £25,000£28,000, dependent on experience
20 days' annual leave, increasing by one day each year after three years' service, up to a maximum of 25 days
