Having rapidly established ourselves as one of the UK's leading providers within the weight management sector, we are now looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Social Media & Marketing Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to take ownership of Oushk Pharmacy's marketing activity across social media, content creation, email marketing, affiliate partnerships, influencer campaigns, PR coordination, customer engagement, and brand growth.
You will work closely with our leadership team, external marketing agency, PR partners, affiliate network, and content creators to ensure all marketing activity is aligned, effective, and delivering measurable business results.
The successful candidate will combine creativity with commercial awareness and be confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. As Oushk operates within a highly regulated healthcare environment, you will ensure that all marketing activity adheres to healthcare advertising regulations, clinical governance standards, and brand guidelines while delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
This is not simply a content posting role. We are looking for someone who understands growth marketing, customer journeys, retention, community building, and how marketing contributes directly to business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Oushk Pharmacy's social media channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Develop and execute a strategic content calendar aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor engagement, comments, messages and community conversations.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement and audience growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates and competitor activity.
Content & Campaign Management
- Coordinate and oversee the creation of high-quality content including video, photography, graphics, blogs, social posts and email campaigns.
- Organise and manage content filming days with internal teams, clinicians and external creators.
- Support service launches, product launches, promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing activity.
- Ensure all content remains consistent with Oushk's brand identity and healthcare communication standards.
Agency, PR & Partner Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for Oushk's external marketing agency.
- Work alongside our PR agency to maximise media opportunities and brand exposure.
- Coordinate campaign delivery across multiple agencies and external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and against agreed objectives.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, freelancers and creative partners.
Affiliate & Influencer Marketing
- Manage and expand Oushk's affiliate and ambassador programme.
- Build relationships with influencers, content creators and strategic partners.
- Monitor affiliate performance, campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
- Identify and recruit new partnership opportunities that align with the Oushk brand.
CRM & Email Marketing
- Manage customer communications and email marketing campaigns.
- Work alongside CRM partners to improve engagement, retention and customer lifetime value.
- Develop automated customer journeys and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Monitor performance including open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
- Continuously optimise customer communications using data and insights.
Customer Insight & Segmentation
- Work closely with agency partners to develop customer insight and audience segmentation strategies.
- Use customer behaviour, engagement data and performance metrics to inform content, campaigns and messaging.
- Create targeted marketing journeys for different patient groups including weight loss, maintenance, men's health, women's health and other service categories.
- Continuously refine communications to improve engagement, retention and conversion.
AI, Automation & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools and marketing automation platforms to scale content production and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop personalised customer journeys through CRM, automation and segmentation strategies.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies and marketing innovations that support business growth.
- Ensure all AI-assisted content and marketing activity remains compliant with healthcare regulations and Oushk's governance standards.
Commercial Performance & Growth
- Own and report on key marketing performance indicators across assigned channels.
- Take responsibility for key growth metrics including customer acquisition, retention, customer lifetime value, engagement and channel ROI.
- Continuously optimise campaigns, content and customer journeys to improve commercial performance.
- Work closely with leadership, agencies and external partners to identify new growth opportunities.
- Support the delivery of Oushk's wider commercial growth objectives through data-driven marketing initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce monthly marketing reports and performance insights.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Track marketing spend and return on investment across channels.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing, social media or digital marketing role.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a commercial brand.
- Strong understanding of content creation, social media strategy and digital marketing.
- Experience working with external marketing agencies and third-party partners.
- Experience managing email marketing campaigns and CRM platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience using analytics and data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable coordinating and appearing in video content.
- Experience using AI tools and marketing automation platforms.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within healthcare, pharmacy, wellness or another regulated industry.
- Experience managing affiliate or influencer marketing programmes.
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads and paid social campaigns.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar CRM platforms.
- Understanding of healthcare advertising regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with PR agencies and media campaigns.
