Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet our quality standards.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
A friendly attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
