Full job description

What you’ll do

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned technical platforms, systems, interdependencies and operational risks.
Carry out first-line investigation and resolution of platform, system and application issues.
Perform daily system checks to verify operational integrity.
Respond promptly to system dashboard alarms and Talkback queries.
Investigate and resolve transmission-affecting incidents and faults.
Log, update and manage incident tickets using Jira.
Complete pre- and post-implementation checks following system changes through the Change Request process.
Collect and analyse system logs to support investigations into service- and system-impacting issues.
Work collaboratively with second-line Platform Engineering teams, Platform Principals and subject-matter experts to capture and share technical knowledge.
Take ownership of your personal development and proactively build your technical and operational capabilities.

What you’ll bring

An understanding of linear and non-linear broadcast systems.
Excellent customer focus, communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with good commercial awareness.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Resilience, flexibility and the ability to remain effective under pressure.
