Job description
Data and AI are critical to the experience of our 16 million members. They underpin our technology investment and help us deliver smarter, more personalised experiences for our customers.
Our Data & AI teams bring together information from across the Society to generate deeper insights, power intelligent decision-making, and unlock new opportunities through data-driven innovation. We build secure, resilient platforms that host enterprise-scale data, create pipelines that transform raw information into trusted business assets, and ensure data is governed effectively and used responsibly.
Increasingly, we are harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence to transform the way colleagues and customers interact with data. We use modern technologies such as Databricks, Azure, and Databricks Genie to make data more accessible through natural language conversations, enabling users to ask business questions and receive instant insights. Our teams also develop predictive models, explore machine learning solutions, and experiment with Generative AI to improve customer experiences, automate processes, and enhance decision-making across the organisation.
Working in Data & AI requires curiosity, creativity, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. You will use these skills to contribute to a wide range of initiatives, from building automated data pipelines and AI-enabled solutions to creating interactive dashboards and self-service analytics tools that empower colleagues to make better decisions.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term opportunity.
