About the job:

The Finance Support role provides accounting and administrative support to the Finance team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department while supporting our operational sites across the UK.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and adaptable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be confident managing a varied workload and be able to build positive working relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare sales invoices for additional services.
Maintain the Additional Services Tracker, working with operational teams to ensure services are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner.
Process supplier invoices accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Support cost centre accounting and apply VAT principles where appropriate.
Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
Liaise with Operations, Commercial, Contracts and Supply Chain to resolve invoicing, purchasing and billing queries.
Provide general administrative support to the Finance team and assist with continuous improvement of finance processes.

About You

You'll have:

Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Experience of processing invoices and working with financial information.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Experience of using an ERP or finance system would be advantageous.
A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
