Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail, capable of translating concepts into compelling visual content. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of projects, including branding, web design, digital media, and marketing campaigns. The successful applicant will be proficient in a range of design tools and possess excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively.

Duties

Develop and implement innovative branding strategies that align with company objectives
Design engaging graphics for websites, social media, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and other relevant tools
Create and optimise visual content for web platforms using HTML, CSS, WordPress, and content management systems
Produce high-quality digital designs including logos, banners, infographics, and UI elements
Edit and produce video content using Adobe After Effects and video editing software to enhance marketing efforts
Conduct photography shoots to capture images that complement visual branding initiatives
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop presentation materials that effectively communicate brand messages
Utilise InVision or similar prototyping tools to develop user interface (UI) designs and interactive prototypes
Stay updated with the latest trends in digital design, branding, and multimedia production to ensure innovative output
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality

Qualifications

Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, web design, and digital media projects
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Adobe After Effects, Sketch, Figma, and InVision
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and content management systems
Experience in UI/UX design principles and digital design best practices
Knowledge of photography techniques and video editing software is desirable
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly to clients or team members
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
A keen eye for colour theory, typography, layout composition, and visual storytelling
