Job Purpose
The Epic Tech Lead is responsible for the technical leadership, delivery and continuous evolution of Atec’s platforms and its associated integrations. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with technical strategy, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned to business objectives. Working closely with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams, the Epic Tech Lead drives delivery excellence whilst mentoring engineers and establishing best practices across the software development lifecycle.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Hands-on technical leader driving complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Balances deep technical expertise with delivery focus.
- Acts as a bridge between architecture and engineering teams.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high impact initiatives.
- Oversee custom development, including scripting and workflow configuration.
- Will be responsible in leading analysis, design, programming, testing and deployment of application.
- Define technical strategies, system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with external systems.
- Mentor the wider Team by sharing skills and expertise with the team and setting a positive example for them.
- Drive integration efforts with external systems to ensure seamless data flow across environments.
- Participate in identifying technical issues related to service delivery, identify solutions and work with the resolutions.
- Optimise system performance, addressing bottlenecks, to enhance customer and staff experience.
- Engage in the production of technical documents as required.
- Participate in briefings, consultation, installation, reviews and interviews.
- Participate in work planning and estimating sessions.
- Aid in and improve the build, delivery and product lifecycle processes.
- Aid in managing requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction, and to maintain quality.
- Supervise activities between internal and external resources as required and facilitate smooth workflow for service delivery.
- Be available to travel to meetings at other sites.
