Quality Assurance Officer II – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Edinburgh BioQuarter

Your new role

An exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer II to join our Quality team on a temporary basis. It is anticipated that the role will be effective from Sep 2026 to Sep 2027.
This is a shift-based role which will include evening and weekend work.
You’ll be responsible for providing real-time support to all RoslinCT departments on Quality matters during core working hours and out of hours.
Ensuring maintenance of cGMP, regulatory standards and guideline knowledge.
Reviewing, writing and updating SOPs to ensure compliance with company policies, practices and relevant standards and guidelines.
Reviewing and approving Quality Management records inclusive of deviations, change controls & corrective and preventive actions.
Supporting the wider Quality Assurance Team with site wide compliance and inspection readiness activities.
Compiling quality metrics to facilitate monitoring of the RoslinCT Quality system.

About you

Minimal 2 years relevant industry experience.
Fully competent in cGMP principles.
IT proficient, particularly with MS Office & an electronic quality management system.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
Accurately record and report data in a clear and accurate manner.
Strong organisation skills, with the ability to juggle prioritising tasks.

Qualifications

A degree in Life Sciences or related field.
