Job Summary

Join our welcoming healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energetic and organised approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, answer telephone calls, coordinate appointments, various admin duties and ensure a smooth flow of daily activities. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that promotes excellent patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our clinic management software
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate staff or departments
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update electronic health records accurately
Manage administrative tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and handling correspondence
Maintain a clean and organised reception area to promote a professional environment

Experience

Prior office experience or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers and phones
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and care
