Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Auditor specialising in Electrical Services, where your expertise will drive excellence in electrical safety, compliance, and quality assurance. In this pivotal role, you will conduct thorough audits of electrical systems, review technical documentation, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Your proactive approach will help safeguard infrastructure integrity and promote best practices across projects and operations. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical reactive repairs
- Undertake electrical testing and inspection, including EICRs
- Perform general electrical maintenance across a range of sites
- Diagnose and fault-find on electrical circuits
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Work safely and professionally within tenanted and occupied properties
Working Environments Include:
- Social Housing (tenanted and void properties)
- Retail
- Office Blocks
- Sheltered Accommodation
Technical Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Ability to deliver high standards of workmanship in line with industry regulations
- Proven experience in:
- Electrical controls and circuits
- Fault finding
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Installation and repair of electrical systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) – Essential
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – Essential
- ECS or JIB Gold Card – Essential
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent) – Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in commercial and/or domestic electrical work – Essential
- Experience working within social housing or tenanted properties – Essential
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check – Essential
