Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Person to join our hospitality team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating guest experiences through exceptional service and drink knowledge. As an integral part of our venue, you will bring energy, professionalism, and a friendly attitude to ensure every visitor feels welcome and well cared for. Your enthusiasm will help foster a lively atmosphere where guests can relax, socialize, and enjoy their time with us.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while handling payments securely.
Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Follow all health and safety protocols related to food safety, alcohol serving laws, and responsible beverage service.
Collaborate with team members to create a lively environment that encourages repeat visits and positive guest feedback.

Skills

Proven experience working in hospitality environments, particularly in bars or restaurants.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve people from diverse backgrounds confidently.
Cellar management.
Proficiency in serving drinks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.

A personal License would be advantageous but not essential as we could offer training and the opportunity to take the license. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality career while working in a fun, supportive environment.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
