Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be a hybrid position, working out of our site in Leatherhead.
Your future duties and responsibilities
CGI are looking for self-motivated user interface developers with proven capability of presenting complex scientific and engineering data whilst also delivering an efficient and engaging user experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced JavaScript developer to join a rapidly expanding business area.
Our work often starts with a new prototyping project and evolves towards a project using an agile approach (Scrum, SAFe and DevSecOps), to solve interesting problems related to Space-based Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).
The requirements, the technologies, and the problems we will be solving can change at short notice and so requires developers who are pragmatic, delivery focused, who can adapt as situations evolve, who enjoy new experiences and always want to learn new things.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential:
- Strong experience in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS and HTML5.
- Excellent team working and communication skills are essential.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in Python
- Experience of GIS technologies
Desirable
- Experience of Astro Space UX Design System would be particularly useful.
- Experience in Agile development
