Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and top motivated technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical breadth/depth and strong interpersonal skills. As a Principal Partner Solutions Architect, you will partner with the world’s largest AI companies, the broader AWS Specialists & Partners team, AWS Service Teams, AWS Sales, and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS AI services.
As a trusted partner, the Principal Partner Solutions Architect will work with our top AI partners on the joint Go-To-Market strategy for EMEA, Solution Creation, joint Thought Leadership and top opportunity support. You will align with your Business Counterpart, our Centers of Excellence and EMEA as well as global Partner Executives. Within our team, you will interlock with the Strategic Consulting Partner/GSI as well as area Partner teams.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record to connect technology to measurable business value. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Key job responsibilities
As a Key member of the Partner team, you will report directly to the EMEA PSA Director. You will be responsible for defining the joint EMEA Go-To-Market strategy with our top AI technology partners, drive joint thought leadership and solution creation for EMEA, with a special focus on meeting the EU regulatory requirements and our customers Digital Sovereignty needs.
About the team
Principal Partner Solution Architects work on the most complex partner challenges and opportunities. They have a leading role in developing both the strategy, the partner and the team itself. They combine an informed view of the market and their understanding of emerging technology to speed up innovation. Externally, they are seen as thought leaders and influence the AI strategy of our partners. Internally, they earn a reputation of role models and deliver bar-raising guidance to other teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
- Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
- Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
- Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
- Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
