We’re looking for a UX Developer / UX Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences (UX) across a portfolio of web applications.
You will play a key role in designing and building intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces, ensuring every interaction aligns with user needs, UX best practices, and business goals.
Working closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders, you’ll translate user requirements, wireframes, and UX designs into scalable frontend solutions.
- Develop modern, responsive, and accessible UI/UX interfaces for web applications
- Deliver consistent user-centred experiences (UX) across internal and client-facing platforms
- Translate UX research, user journeys, and wireframes into functional UI components
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and design systems
- Improve usability, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and overall UX performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience strategy
- Work with frameworks such as React, Angular, Blazor
- Integrate with REST APIs and backend systems
- Participate in code reviews, UX discussions, and frontend best practice improvements
- Contribute to the modernisation of legacy systems with UX improvements
- Stay up to date with UX trends, frontend technologies, and accessibility standards
- Proven experience as a UX Developer, UI Developer, or Frontend Developer with UX focus
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design skills
- Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Blazor)
- Understanding of UX principles, usability, interaction design, and user journeys
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
- Experience building component-based UI architectures and design systems
- Ability to translate user needs into intuitive UX/UI solutions
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong collaboration and communication skills

- Tailwind CSS / utility-first CSS frameworks
- Frontend testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

- Azure-hosted applications
- Optimising UX performance, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals
