OTT Channel Developer

Location: Remote
Contract Type: Freelance or Contract
Salary: TBD

Executive TV is looking for an ambitious and technically capable developer to help build and launch a next-generation OTT streaming channel.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating a television platform from the ground up. You'll work closely with the founders to develop, integrate and optimise the technology behind our streaming service.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain OTT applications and supporting systems.
Integrate video streaming technologies and third-party services.
Implement and optimise video playback across multiple devices and platforms.
Work with APIs, CMS platforms and content delivery workflows.
Troubleshoot technical issues and improve performance and reliability.
Collaborate on features, user experience and future planning.
Support the launch and ongoing growth of the channel

Requirements

Experience developing web and/or mobile applications using modern frameworks
Understanding of OTT and video streaming technologies
Experience working with APIs and cloud-based services
Familiarity with connected TV platforms (e.g. Apple TV) would be advantageous
Knowledge of video players and analytics integrations is desirable.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
