About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced multiple Senior Cloud Native Engineers to join their highly skilled team of developers. This is an exciting chance to work on enterprise-scale, agile software development projects, delivering innovative solutions that truly make a difference for clients.

The team combines technical expertise with creativity, leveraging a mix of open-source and proprietary technologies to ensure the best outcomes. Their engineering community is globally recognised for excellence, sharing knowledge and insights across blogs, forums, and events creating an environment where learning and innovation thrive.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the AWS Engineering Team , you will work with clients to design, implement, and deliver cloud-native solutions . Using your deep expertise in AWS and modern software engineering practices, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using AWS services, serverless technologies, and DevOps principles.
Building and managing scalable, resilient infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code , Kubernetes, and AWS serverless components.
Driving continuous improvement through Agile/SCRUM methodologies , engaging stakeholders to align on project goals.
Mentoring team members and contributing to skill-building initiatives, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and collaboration.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud solutions, with a real impact on client outcomes and organisational success.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Experience with at least one major cloud platform ( AWS preferred ) and cloud-native application development.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and managing containerised applications at scale.
Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
Application development skills in languages such as Java, Go, or Python .
A DevOps mindset with practical experience in CI/CD, GitOps, and Agile/SCRUM practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for client engagements.
A commitment to continuous learning , with AWS certification considered a strong advantage (training support provided).

Security Clearance

This position requires Developed Vetting (DV) clearance . Applicants must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 10 years and meet other detailed eligibility criteria. Certain roles may require sole UK nationality, and candidates will be asked questions regarding residence and citizenship during the recruitment process.
