Overview

We are seeking a dedicated AI and App Development Assistant to join our innovative technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications and artificial intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced developers, utilising a broad range of programming languages and tools to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of software projects. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about software development and eager to expand their technical expertise within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven applications and software solutions.
Collaborate on front-end development tasks using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create user-friendly interfaces.
Support back-end development with languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and VBA.
Manage version control systems including Git, SVN, and GitHub to ensure seamless code integration and collaboration.
Develop and optimise APIs for integration with third-party services and internal systems.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and manage applications effectively.
Utilise SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server for data management and retrieval tasks.
Contribute to software development lifecycle activities including testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment.
Assist in maintaining Linux-based environments and utilise RESTful services for efficient data exchange.

Experience

Proven experience or strong familiarity with programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and C.
Experience with front-end development frameworks and tools such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git, SVN, and platforms such as GitHub.
Familiarity with cloud services including AWS and Azure for application deployment.
Understanding of database management using MySQL or similar SQL-based systems.
Experience working within Linux environments is advantageous.
Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, software development methodologies, and application optimisation techniques.
