We work across WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, React, Vue.js, React Native, Magento, Shopify and AWS, delivering everything from high-end marketing websites through to complex business systems, customer portals, ecommerce platforms and integrations.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in the technical delivery of client projects.
The Role
As a Senior Web Developer, you will work closely with our project managers, designers and development team to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
You will take ownership of technical delivery across a range of projects, contribute to solution design, mentor junior developers and help shape technical standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites, ecommerce platforms, mobile applications and bespoke software solutions
- Build custom solutions using Laravel, Symfony, WordPress and modern PHP frameworks
- Develop frontend applications using React and Vue.js
- Support React Native mobile application projects where required
- Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party systems
- Participate in technical discovery, planning and solution architecture
- Review code and maintain development best practices
- Support junior developers through mentoring and technical guidance
- Troubleshoot technical issues across applications, infrastructure and hosting environments
- Support deployment and release processes
- Ensure projects meet performance, accessibility, security and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes and tooling
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Strong commercial PHP development experience
- Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony
- Experience developing custom WordPress solutions
- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
- Experience working with MySQL databases
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Strong Git workflow knowledge
- Experience working within a digital agency environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- ReactJS experience
- Vue.js experience
- React Native experience
- Magento experience
- Shopify development experience
- AWS experience
- Docker experience
- CI/CD experience
- Experience with Algolia or enterprise search platforms
