About the role:
PwC is seeking a developer to join our Threat Intelligence practice, building the bespoke platforms and automation that underpin our global intelligence capability.
Our Threat Intelligence team delivers research‑driven, actionable intelligence to public and private sector organisations worldwide. We track emerging intrusion techniques and hundreds of threat actors across more than 27 countries, supporting incident response, adversary emulation, managed threat hunting, and strategic security decision‑making.
In this role, you’ll design and build the tools that enable analysts to collect, analyse, and publish intelligence at pace, ensuring clients have reliable access to critical insights. This includes delivering a threat intelligence portal, integration interfaces for client platforms, bespoke research services, and intelligence support across PwC’s global cyber security practice.
What your days will look like:
-
Own full-stack features end to end, from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
-
Build scalable automation, data collection systems, internal platforms, and RESTful APIs that support intelligence workflows.
-
Develop reusable frontend and backend components, writing clean, performant code manually and with AI Agents.
-
Deploy and operate services in cloud environments, improving integration, reliability, and performance across client-facing platforms.
-
Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to review work, document solutions, and scale platforms globally.
The role is for you if:
-
You have strong Python, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience across modern full-stack development.
-
You design, build, and consume RESTful APIs that support reliable, scalable application features.
-
You write performant, maintainable, reusable UI components with clean engineering practices.
-
You are comfortable using AI tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery.
-
You work well with globally distributed teams, communicating clearly and collaborating effectively.
-
You are autonomous, proactive, and interested in applying engineering skills within cybersecurity.
Desirable experience:
-
Cloud deployment and application operations across GCP, AWS, or Azure.
-
CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native development practices.
