About the Role
The GBS Performance & Productivity Manager will be responsible for leveraging the full AI capabilities of Claude to scale data analysis and uncovering deep operational insights.
The GBS Performance & Productivity Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for analysing performance, productivity, capacity, and operational risk across all GBS programs, countries, and regions.
This role serves as a data-driven business partner to Operations working closely with Finance and the SAM team, helping Magnit move from reactive performance management to proactive, insight-led decision-making. The role will identify trends, risks, program leakage, capacity opportunities, and productivity improvement areas, then challenge operational leaders to take action.
The role sits within GBS and plays a critical role in improving delivery performance, cost efficiency, client outcomes, and operational discipline across programs.
What You Will Do
Performance Analytics & Insights
- Analyse productivity and performance across all GBS programs, countries, and regions
- Identify trends, risks, root causes, and emerging performance issues before they escalate
- Track and interpret key operational metrics including GP/labour cost, time-to-fill, time-to-start, placements per Delivery Partner, program leakage, attrition levels, reworks, and process compliance
- Compare performance within and across programs to identify best practices and underperformance
Operational Productivity & Capacity Management
- Identify available capacity across teams and programs that can be redeployed or better utilized
- Highlight productivity gaps and opportunities to improve output, utilization, and delivery efficiency
- Support operational leaders in reducing over-hiring, improving load balancing, and maximizing use of existing capacity
- Provide insight into where teams, roles, or programs are operating above or below expected performance levels
Program Risk & Leakage Management
- Identify program leakage, margin pressure, delivery inefficiencies, and process breakdowns
- Surface client, supplier, or operational behaviours that are driving rework, attrition, delays, or compliance issues
- Analyse which client managers, suppliers, programs, or regions are creating the highest operational friction
- Partner with operational leaders to define corrective actions and monitor improvement
Supplier, Client & Program Intelligence
- Assess supplier performance across programs and identify which suppliers perform best, where, and why
- Analyse client manager behaviour and its impact on delivery performance, rework, attrition, and compliance
- Provide insights to Supplier Relations, SAM, Finance, and Operations to improve commercial and delivery outcomes
- Identify repeatable best practices that can be scaled across accounts and regions
Business Partnering & Operational Challenge
- Act as a data business partner to GBS leaders
- Challenge operational leaders with evidence-based insights and ensure follow-through on actions
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations and actionable operational improvements
- Support performance reviews, QBRs, program health checks, and leadership discussions
AI, Automation & Advanced Analytics
- Use AI tools, including Claude Enterprise, to scale analysis, identify patterns, and improve insight generation
- Develop advanced prompting capabilities and AI-enabled analytical approaches
- Become an internal SME for using AI to interrogate performance data and accelerate decision-making
- Continuously explore opportunities to automate reporting, detect risks earlier, and improve operational visibility
Success Measures
- Improvement in GP/labour cost performance
- Reduction in program leakage
- Improved time-to-fill and time-to-start metrics
- Increased placements per Delivery Partner
- Improved capacity utilization across programs
- Reduction in rework and process non-compliance
- Increased visibility into performance risks before escalation

- Improved supplier and client manager performance visibility
What You Will Need
- Strong operational experience in MSP, staffing, workforce solutions, GBS, or shared services environments
- Highly data literate, with experience analyzing operational, financial, and productivity metrics
- Strong understanding of delivery operations, capacity management, performance drivers, and root cause analysis
- Comfortable working across multiple regions, programs, and stakeholder groups
- Experience influencing and challenging operational stakeholders using data and insights
- Strong working knowledge of BI/reporting tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and AI-enabled analytics tools
- Interest in becoming an SME in Claude Enterprise or similar AI platforms
