Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with food service, making it essential that you possess strong time management skills and a passion for the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Opening and closing the pub
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
Manage cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management by reporting low supplies.
Uphold high standards of customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
