West Berkshire Council is seeking an Information Analyst to join our Customer Engagement & Transformation Service, reporting to the Principal Performance, Research and Information Officer.
The Role
As an Information Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making within the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

Extracting and manipulating data from various sources to produce accurate and meaningful reports.
- Conducting analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their information requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy through regular validation and cleansing processes.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of information management processes and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Strong experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficient in using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualisation software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
