Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior SEO Expert to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of search engine optimisation strategies, technical SEO, and content optimisation to enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead SEO initiatives, optimise website performance, and contribute to the growth of our digital presence. The position is paid and suitable for a professional with a passion for data-driven marketing and a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings across multiple platforms.
Conduct detailed keyword research and optimise website content, metadata, and structure accordingly.
Analyse website performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, providing actionable insights.
Manage technical SEO aspects including HTML, CSS, JavaScript optimisation, and site architecture enhancements.
Oversee content management systems like WordPress to ensure SEO best practices are maintained throughout the website.
Utilise Google Tag Manager for tracking and analysing user behaviour to inform optimisation efforts.
Monitor competitors’ SEO activities and stay updated with the latest industry trends and algorithm changes.
Collaborate with content creators, developers, and social media managers to ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.
Implement schema markup and metadata enhancements to improve rich snippets in search results.
Lead efforts in social media management to support overall SEO objectives by increasing engagement and inbound links.

Skills

Proven experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact on search engine optimisation.
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).
Excellent understanding of metadata optimisation, schema markup, and site architecture best practices.
Ability to analyse data effectively and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Experience in social media management as it relates to boosting organic reach and engagement.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively. This role is ideal for a dedicated SEO professional eager to lead innovative projects within a dynamic environment while continuously developing their expertise in digital marketing strategies.

Pay: £24,702.55-£62,854.16 per year
