Full job description

Data Intern (10-12 Month FTC) - Banbury: £26,320pa plus Performance Bonus & Benefits.

Bibby Financial Services are growing, and we’re looking for a Data Intern to join our Banbury team. You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working and clear opportunities to progress your career. You’ll get hands-on with live business data, learn in-demand technical skills and help shape real decisions across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

Working with data sets to spot trends, patterns and opportunities
Using basic SQL to query and extract information
Using basic Python to analyse data and automate tasks
Learning Power BI to build dashboards and visual reports
Turning one-off requests into reusable self-serve reporting tools
Presenting findings clearly to non-technical colleagues
Working with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges
Helping teams make better decisions through actionable insight

Who are we looking for?

Highly numerate
Studying towards (or recently completed) a numerate degree such as Maths, Science, Economics or similar
Interested in data, analytics or technology
Comfortable learning basic programming skills
Curious, proactive and eager to learn
Able to communicate clearly with different people
Excited by the chance to make a real contribution
