About Us
WD&P is a full-service digital agency based in Kilwinning, Ayrshire. We work as a fractional marketing department for UK service businesses, delivering web design, branding, print, SEO, paid advertising, social media and lead generation. We're growing fast and looking for someone who can jump straight into an active client pipeline.
The Role
We need a WordPress Developer/Designer who can hit the ground running. We have a live pipeline of client projects that need building, launching and maintaining, so this isn't a role to ease into over a few months. You'll be picking up real client sites from week one, working across builds, edits, troubleshooting and design within WordPress and Elementor.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building responsive WordPress websites using Elementor
- Turning wireframes and brand guidelines into finished, polished sites
- Making updates and fixes to live client sites
- Troubleshooting hosting, plugin and compatibility issues
- Working directly with our design and account team to deliver client projects on time
- Managing multiple client sites and priorities at once
What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience building sites in WordPress and Elementor
- Strong eye for design and layout
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues independently
- Able to manage your own workload across several live projects
- Good communicator, happy working closely with a small team
- Experience with WooCommerce, basic HTML/CSS, or SEO best practice is a bonus
- Javascript, PHP & advanced custom field experience would be an advantage
- Node.JS, Gulp & Yarn knowledge would be beneficial
- Experience with version control
- Tailwind knowledge would be an advantage
What You'll Need to Bring From Day One
- The ability to get started on live client work quickly with minimal ramp-up time
- A portfolio of previous WordPress builds you can talk us through
