Job Overview

We have a vacancy for a Dispenser/Receptionist at Hindon Surgery to join our wonderful team at this very special Practice, which regularly appears in the top 3 practices in the county.

Job Summary

To receive, assist and facilitate patients to access the appropriate service for healthcare
To be the first point of contact for telephone and face to face enquiries
To be professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way either by telephone or face to face.
To provide a positive, supportive and friendly service to patients, colleagues and visitors.
To work at all times in accordance and within protocols and standard operating procedures.
To dispense accurately and in a timely manner, any repeat and acute items for the registered list. To undertake and manage stock – both receipt, disposal and storage stock - according to practice systems.
To undertake Dispensing Service Quality Scheme reviews as required.

Requirements

Dispensing qualification desirable but not essential as training will be given
Strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating compassion and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Excellent keyboard and computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
