At Saint-Gobain Glassolutions we’re looking for a Sales Administrator to work at our Aberdeen branch, helping to fulfil our customer orders both face-to-face in our showroom as well as over the phone and online.
The Sales Administrator will be a part of our Aberdeen branch team, which is a small, multi-skilled team who work together to provide the level of service our customers have come to expect from our business. It’s a super unique and varied role, as once you’ve been fully trained in our sales admin duties, we’ll upskill you to assist in the manufacturing department, as well as to drive our 3.5tonne vehicle to make customer deliveries when required.
Glassolutions is part of Saint-Gobain – the UK’s leading provider of glass and glazing solutions to the architectural, construction, building maintenance, door and window sectors.
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday. We’re paying a competitive salary plus bonus, pension, and many other flexible benefits including healthcare options.
What we’re looking for:
· Experience of working within the glass industry would be fantastic however not essential, we’re looking for excellent customer service and communication skills from any industry background
· Previous sales admin experience
· A strong health and safety mindset
· A valid full driving licence and a willingness to drive our 3.5 tonne vehicle
· Manual handling experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
· Ability to work in a busy environment as part of a team
What you will be doing:
· Serve our walk-in customers who come to branch to buy products from our showroom
· Manage orders via phone and email. Process associated admin tasks
· Transport glass using our company vehicle
· Assist in the manufacturing operation, help to lift glass onto machinery.
· Act as a health and safety ambassador, challenge risks and keep our colleagues and customers safe
