We’re expanding our technical team and are looking for a skilled Heating Engineer who’s passionate about modern, low‑carbon heating systems and delivering high‑quality work for customers.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining a range of heating systems, with a strong focus on air source heat pumps (ASHPs). Experience in renewables is highly desirable, but we’re also open to heating engineers who are keen to upskill and transition into the renewable sector.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service air source heat pumps and associated heating systems
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and safely
- Carry out system upgrades, maintenance, and performance checks
- Work closely with our electrical and renewables teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Experience
- Proven experience in heating system installation, maintenance, or repair
- Proficiency in welding, plumbing, and the use of power tools
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems and associated components
- Ability to perform basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Strong understanding of heating system design and diagnostics
