We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and proactive ICT Support Technician to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach to support the day-to-day running and development of ICT across the school.
Working closely with the Network Manager, you will provide technical support to staff and students, maintain ICT equipment and systems, and help ensure technology is reliable, secure and effective in supporting teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support for staff and students
- Install, maintain and repair desktops, laptops, printers, projectors and mobile devices
- Support classroom technology including interactive displays and AV equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, OneDrive and SharePoint environments
- Monitor antivirus and security systems and assist with ICT improvements
- Assist with ICT projects, device deployments and system upgrades
- Maintain ICT equipment and assist with asset management and PAT testing
- Support data cabling and network infrastructure where required
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience supporting Windows and Apple devices
- Be confident troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related technologies
- Be organised, self-motivated and able to manage workloads effectively
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ideally have previous experience working in a school or educational environment
