We are a growing Plant Hire company that specialises in providing Bowser Solutions for large-scale road, rail and infrastructure projects. We are proud to be working on an exciting large scale rail project and require a motivated, self-starting HGV Driver to work with us in a bespoke fuel tanker.
Role Requirements
- Site experience preferred, but not essential as training will be available to the right candidate
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
- HGV Category C drivers licence allowing you to drive in the UK
- CSCS Card required
- DCPC Training up to date
- ADR (tanks and packages) required
- SUD required
- Relevant Medical up to date
- Good Spoken English to be able to communicate on site with other workers
- Note - Drug and Alcohol Testing is undertaken on all of our Principal Contractors sites
Role Responsibilities
- Driving and operating your bespoke vehicle in accordance with Road Traffic Legislation and the Highway Code. It will be your responsibility to keep this vehicle clean and serviceable.
- Filling plant and other machinery working on the project with fuel or ad-blue in line with the clients requirements.
- Ensure that all Daily Vehicle Checks are undertaken and reported.
- Make effective use of safety equipment, particularly personal protective equipment. There is a zero-tolerance policy on health and safety.
- To comply with all legislative requirements, company policy and procedures at all times.
- To digitally submit all job and time sheets as well as any other associated documentation applicable as instructed by your Manager.
- To comply with Contract and Site Managers at all times.
Please note - this is a physical role which will require you to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
