Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring the health and beauty of gardens and green spaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a love for horticulture and landscape maintenance to apply their skills in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will work with a variety of tools and techniques to create visually appealing and sustainable outdoor areas, contributing significantly to the aesthetic appeal of our grounds.

Responsibilities

Planting, pruning, weeding, and fertilising garden beds to promote healthy growth
Operating hand tools, power tools efficiently and safely
Implementing garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and mulching
Assisting with the installation of new garden features and plant arrangements
Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases for prompt treatment
Maintaining equipment and ensuring all tools are clean, organised, and in good working order
Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times during outdoor work activities

Experience

Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is essential
Growing experience or knowledge of plant care, soil management, and sustainable gardening practices is advantageous
Previous work in landscape design or garden planning is a plus
A genuine interest in horticulture with a keen eye for detail will be highly valued
